Painting Goes Back To Nature For 2010

Bright greens, fresh lemons and rich creams are all on the colour palette for 2010, according to trade body The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA).

?

Neil Ogilvie, National President of the PDA, says a trend is starting to emerge which sees homeowners looking to harness the power of nature to transform their living environments.

?

“There is a grass roots, natural feel to the colour choices we are seeing this year, said Neil.

?

“Perhaps people are feeling confident about 2010 after the economic hardships of the last few years and want to use colour to make a positive statement.

?

“As well as strong greens, we are seeing striking yellows and other floral colours coming to the fore too.”

?

The PDA represents over 2,300 professional companies across the UK from sole traders to large national contractors.

?

Contracting a membership of the PDA helps assure peace of mind for customers. Painters and decorators are rigorously vetted before they are allowed to join the Association and have to adhere to the highest standards in health and safety practice, training and development.
